Here's some quick tips and facts to writing
an effective personal ad.
- Be completely honest don't lie (if you
have 7 kids say so, if your 50 lbs. overweight say it).
- List your traits good and bad (if you
smoke say so, if your athletic say it).
- Create an attention grabber Headline
(check out others, this helps).
- Be specific (let them know exactly what
your goals, ambitions, moral standards, likes and dislikes).
- Be positive (negativity repels).
- Use some humor (this works well).
- Use pictures in your profile (pics get
8-times more response!).
- Use a dictionary to check your spelling
and grammar (if you're not a good speller that's ok, but you don't want
to look totally uneducated).
